Don’t Act Like You’ve Never Had A Fantasy Involving At Least One Of These Dudes.

Remember “WKRP IN CINCINNATI?” Well, some of you may not, because you’re too young. And you know what? You probably shouldn’t try to watch it if you don’t know what I’m talking about… but for those of you that DO, I suspect you’re already hearing the theme song (”baby, if you’ve ever wondered, wondered, whatever became of me…”) in your head and feeling all nostalgic. Remember how Jennifer (played by Loni Anderson) always had a huge amount of cash on her, for no reason (wink, wink)? And how Venus Flytrap tried to get on board for a minute when the station went all “Easy Listening,” but Johnny Fever was all “hell no, RAWK ‘N’ ROLL FOREVAH!!!” Remember how sweet, heroic, heartfelt Andy tried to save the station? And how he and Bailey (one of the original pretty actresses made up to seem mousy, ALA Pam from “The Office”) fell in love? And remember how Herb was all “Look at my polyester plaid suit, I wear this ’cause I sell ads and stuff, and that’s how salesmen are,”  and OH! Remember when they all had a hot, nasty, sweaty orgy in the recording booth? No? Huh. Weird, because I totally remember that being the series finale. Well, in case you missed it, the porn version just wrapped over the weekend, as well as the porn versions of The Office, Scrubs, Seinfeld, and Friends.

Because apparently, this is what we do with beloved American TV classics, now.
