Girl with a boy name

Heidi and Seal welcomed a little baby girl on October 9th and decided to name her Lou. Even though Lou is a boy’s name I really don’t hate it that much. It could have been worse, they could have named her Steven or Carl or Butch. This makes baby number four for Heidi. Is it just me or does Heidi have a baby every year? It seems like she’s been pregnant forever. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I just can’t imagine having all those kids around. I like kids, when I can give them back to their parents after a couple of hours. That’s why being an aunt is the best. I show up, play with baby, give baby back when it gets cranky. Even when I do decide to have kids I’m not going anywhere near the four area, I’ll stick with one or two. Thank god Heidi and Seal can afford to have nannies.

And if I were Seal and my wife looked like Heidi (Klum) Samuel - I’d do my damnedest to keep her pregnant, perpetually!! :)

Lou is one of my nicknames and it totally works for me. So I’m thrilled… even though my life has nothing to do with Heidi’s child. Just for the sake of Lous everywhere, I’m glad.

I have friends who were called Lou (that were girls). But I feel bad for men that all their names are being stolen for girls.

First it was Heather. Then it was Ashley. Then Riley, and I know a female Wesley and Connor…

And now Lou.

If a girl is ever named Richard, we’re in trouble.

Yep… and there’s Lindsey and Whitney… and the newest crop of names for guys has “Name Your Daughter This In 2025″ written all over it. At least Lou can be short for Louise or Louisa. Wesley has no excuse. Wesley comes from old money, that’s the only thing I can tell by that name.

It’s going both ways, though. I just heard about a little boy named Tegan. I’ve also known men named Carol and Kristan.

Let’s all just be happy they didn’t follow the celebrity weirdness trend and name their daughter something like Pineapple Mitsubishi Nevada.

I have a friend named Lou. It is pretty cute as a girl’s name.
Both of my girls have names that can go either way. I am setting them up good for the days when they need to go on job interviews. A girlfriend of mine named Ryan loves to go into job interviews - They never expect a girl!

I second Seakat’s request for a post-baby body like Heidi’s. She probably packs a bikini to go home from the hospital.

When I was in Arizona, I met a guy named Paris. Big black guy named Paris. Don’t see that too often.

Connie (or Kani) can go either way too. My mom’s name is Connie, but Kani is a pretty normal name for a Hawaiian guy.

BTW I found a notebook over in the corner of this thread. Does anyone know who it belongs to? It says chelsea Gunslider, Dr. and Mrs. Gunslider, Ms. Dr. Gunslider, and ch + dg = bc, then what appears to be an ice cream cone full of butt.
