X-Men Land in the Desert
It just got hotter over here
Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Liev Schreiber invaded the valley of the sunstroke on Monday for the premier of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. If that weren’t awesome enough, Mr. Jackman took it upon himself to buy breakfast for the first 800 people who showed up. However, the best part of the entire event was Brady Bogen. Brady is one of the DJ’s on Holmberg’s Morning Sickness (98KUPD) here in Phoenix (By far, the best morning show I’ve ever heard), and he dressed up like a tubby Wolverine to interview the stars of the movie. As the pictures clearly show, the stars didn’t really know what to make of him. Anyways, the movie is getting great reviews and having the opening here was a really big deal for us.
More of the puzzled beauty of Hugh, Liev and Ryan after the jump.

oneofthevoicesinmyhead says:The last movie to premier here was Good Luck Chuck. I don’t think I have to point out the unfairness of this. Before that it was Dukes of Motherfucking Hazzard.
It looks like they made this a really fun event, and Jackman seems to be the most personable actor around. I agree about the Manwich, but it’s like getting a deli pack and not knowing where to begin. I can’t wait for this to get here. Let the drooling begin!

pete pootietang says:We had the premiere of Rocky Balboa here. You couldn’t understand a lick of what Sly was saying when the local reporters interviewed him on the “red carpet.” I think we’ve had a couple Tim Allen premieres here too, since he’s from Michigan, but who gives a shit about Tim Allen?
